Currently, the artworks are being gradually restored. Their original owner was the Havlíčkův Brod Office for State Representation in Property Matters, which is located in the building of the former monastery. According to experts, it is an important art historical document related to the monastic order and the history of the town of Havlíčkův Brod itself. The cycles, which were created between 1746 and 1756, consist of monumental oil paintings. Jakub Pischel is listed as their author.

The set of 45 paintings, found in poor condition, comprises two cycles: one depicting scenes from the life of the Holy Family, the other referred to as Augustinian. Currently they are gradually undergoing restoration. Originally these works of art were owned by the Havlíčkův Brod branch of the Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs resident in the building of the former Augustinian monastery.
